NEW DELHI: At least two soldiers lost their lives, and three others sustained injuries when an Army vehicle veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge near the Wular Viewpoint in Bandipora district, officials reported on Saturday.
The soldiers were immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Dr. Masarat Iqbal Wani, medical superintendent of district hospital Bandipora, stated, “5 injured were brought here, out of which 2 were brought dead, 3 injured who were in critical condition have been referred to Srinagar for further treatment.”
