MUMBAI: At least two persons were killed and four others seriously injured after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) collided with a tempo in Maharashtra’s Solapur district on Wednesday, police said. The accident took place in the morning at Manidargi village on the Akkalkot-Gangapur highway, an official said.
“The tempo was proceeding from Gangapur to Akkalkot, while the SUV carrying six persons was going from the opposite direction,” he said. “The driver of the SUV lost control over the vehicle and collided with the tempo. Two persons died on the spot and four others sustained serious injuries,” the official said.
